The Power of Positive Thinking

Hello there you beautiful being of the blog-o-sphere!

Today I wanted to talk to you about the power of positive thinking...

*Warning: Lizzie Mcquire will feature in this blog post- if you don't know who she is- I honestly don't know what you did as a child and I demand you to go and research it right now*

In life, there are always going to be bad days, negative moments and periods of time where we encounter toxic people. There are always going to be negative factors; however this does not mean that we should become vulnerable to these circumstances. It is important to exhale any negative energy in our lives and to try to inhale as many positive vibes as we can in our day to day lives. Sadly it is all too easy to become swept up in a cycle of self loathing, regret and anxiety, but there are things that we can do in order to lessen the time we spend having these dark moments. We cannot indulge in these moments of self pity and hatred or it will lead to a downward spiral with a hell of a climb back up. As the quote goes, "When something bad happens you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you or let it strengthen you. It is up to you which choice to make." Choose to wake up every single morning and allow yourself to think at least one small positive thought, you may not think it, but that thought could change the outcome of your entire day.

2 quotes to live by:

"Life is too short for self hatred and celery sticks"

"If you are searching for that one person that will change your life forever,
take a look in the mirror"

Thumbs up for the Lizzie Mcquire references- no? Okay. But honestly keep up the positive affirmations and practice self love, because although it may sound 'cheesy' and 'stupid', in reality having insecurities is an extremely common thing and almost if not every single person in the entire world is insecure about something. If you can do something about it and take actions towards feeling happier and more confident...why on earth wouldn't you?
